At The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd, we are seeking a qualified Maintenance Engineer to support the effective operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of our production assets. Inserted within the Plant & Supply Chain Department and reporting directly to our Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will contribute to achieving business objectives by ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimising downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure prompt and effective response to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational disruption
• Monitor and analyse equipment performance, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies
• Support the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs
• Supervise maintenance teams, including technicians and external contractors
• Contribute to annual maintenance planning, including overhauls and budget preparation
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet required standards and deliver expected outcomes
• Track and analyse KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
• Support plant improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
• Engineering Warrant (or in progress)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in team supervision is considered an asset
