Job Description

Overview

To guarantee the proper execution of the credit control function. To ensure adherence to established policies and procedures that maintain the accuracy of the debtor’s ledger and to confirm that all income due is received and accurately accounted for.

1. Responsibilities

  • To manage disputed accounts and negotiate to ensure that payments align with the established terms.
  • To guarantee timely and appropriate follow-up on payment schedules.
  • To ensure that all income due is received and accurately recorded in the debtors' accounts.
  • To prepare account reconciliations as necessary.
  • To address queries and resolve problems in accordance with Company guidelines and policies.
  • To consult with the Sales Team to ensure that disputes regarding deliveries and payments are satisfactorily resolved.
  • To maintain all necessary records pertinent to Credit, as required.

2. Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements : O level or equivalent in Maths, Maltese and English

3. Skills and Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge of credit control. 
  • Proficiency in computer applications. 
  • Demonstrated numeracy skills. 
  • Exceptional time management abilities, with a capacity to prioritize a demanding workload. 
  • Effective telephone communication skills.

4. Experience

  • Background in credit control would be considered an asset
