To ensure the smooth running of the production plant with respect to raw materials yields, production efficiencies, safety, employee management & product quality.
TASKS:
- Directly responsible for all production operations on the respective shift.
- To ensure that any overtime assigned is reviewed and approved by the Production Manager to ascertain that budgets and requirements of the Business Plan are respected.
- To develop and train team members to maximise their potential.
- To communicate with all stakeholders to achieve team goals.
- To recommend and support the implementation of any engineering changes, product changes and/or production trials.
- To contribute in the improvement of working procedures by constantly looking for solutions to ensure the highest productivity and quality results.
- To be aware of and work to achieve and exceed the department’s production targets.
- To ensure that the Sanitation programs for the Bottling Lines, keg room and Bag-in-Box, the syrup room and water treatment are followed according to TCCC and Company specifications.
- To ensure that all production reports are filled in correctly and properly analysed with focus on equipment downtime, output, efficiency and raw material yields.
- To oversee that all raw material is ordered correctly and in a timely manner through the ERP system.
- To oversee that, at the end of every production run, all raw material is returned to stores and a backflush of the raw material is done in the ERP system.
- To review and follow-up production data and performance reports.
- To continuously monitor the production lines together with the Manufacturing Manager to produce high quality products by effective use of labour hours and raw materials.
