JOB OUTLINE:
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven and tech-savvy individual to contribute to the success of our organization by bridging the gap between IT and business needs. As an IT Junior Business Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying business challenges, developing, and implementing IT solutions, and driving positive change.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-on Support:
- Assisting with data collection and analysis to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Participating in the development and implementation of IT solutions, including software selection, configuration, and testing.
- Providing technical support to internal users and assisting with troubleshooting issues.
- Conducting user training and documentation for new systems and processes
Change Management:
- Supporting the development and implementation of change management plans for IT solutions.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding and adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Assisting with user training and change management activities.
Budgeting and KPIs:
- Assisting with the development and monitoring of IT project budgets.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT solutions and reporting on progress towards objectives.
- Conducting cost-benefit analysis for proposed IT solutions.
Assisting the IT Business Solutions Manager:
- Managing assigned projects and tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Attending meetings, taking notes, and preparing reports as needed.
- Conducting research and preparing presentations on relevant IT topics.
- Staying up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
GENERAL
- Be knowledgeable and adhere to the company policies & procedures.
- Maintaining confidentiality about information being processed, accessed, or stored.
- Performing all duties to ensure the deliverables are achieved for the success of the department and its initiatives.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Diploma in IT/Computer Studies or an equivalent.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience dealing with external stakeholders.
- Ambitious, good attitude, willing to learn and promote teamwork spirit.
- Sound Experience in Microsoft platforms and products i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experienced working in multi-site organisations environment.
- Must be willing to be on-call and travel to off-sites.
